Linking A News Profile
A News Profile can be claimed and linked to a user account for management, only if the user is fully verified. Linking gives the user the ability to update the photo, bio, and social links for the News Profile.
It is import to note that linked accounts cannot alter or remove any news stories attributed to that News Profile. If the linked user account is deleted, all the account data will be permanently deleted including access to the News Profile, but the News Profile will survive.
Steps To Link A News Profile
- Signup or Login to your Streamlly account
- On your dashboard, you will see the verification status of your account. If it says Verified with a blue checkmark, then your account does not require any further verification. If it says Unverified, then you will need to begin the verification process.
- Once verified, go to your newsroom.
- Tap "Claim News Profile" and fill out the form. Be sure to provide the URL of the News Profile.
- You should hear back in 5-10 days if your request is approved.
